my expectations...
i don’t mean to downplay anyone’s successes but really… if you don’t apply the skills you’ve picked up, what are you really bragging about? your ability to read and take tests? your comprehensive knowledge but lack of capability to apply your knowledge in real world cases?

i’m not going to say much since this is a sensitive topic but i’ve known a lot of people IN HIGH SCHOOL who prayed out loud and said such “holy” things to have their god by their side through tough times like taking a test…
but they’ve treated others in the most cynical way; cheated on their tests; bullied people like me; never gave others a chance to try out...

when friends ask if I live in LA, i say yes but not in the county.
when i think of LA county, i think of dirty streets, horrible traffic with nothing to see but more traffic and ridiculous amounts of billboards and sky scrapers.

beer pong
why are there so many people standing around a 2 or 4 person game… i don’t get this social norm. such a weird social water hole.
when someone talks to me about someone they met at a party and how they were a great beer pong partner. my reaction: is that something you’re really proud about? and is that really the extent of your exciting memory and relationship with that...
i want to be that girl.
with the concepts of photoblogging being on the uprise with instagram… i hope to be that girl whose pictures say something on the lines of “yes, i am having fun with my life and i’m out doing stuff” i want to take pictures to show that i’m having fun with the people who i’m with.
not to criticize anyone on their photos as entertaining as it is to see people...
home sweet home?
I was able to experience what it felt like to witness loving parents saying how much they miss their son after he comes home from a vacation. I arranged gifts on the table that I got for my mom while I was in Hawaii and the first thing she says to me when she saw me was, “how come you said you were going to be home last night??!”
